EDS Air Conditioning Man Thwarts Burglary In Boca

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — An air conditioning repair technician in Boca Raton kept his cool Tuesday when he arrived at a service appointment and found a suspicious looking car in the driveway.

Boca Raton Police say Anthony Kiser of EDS Air Conditioning arrived at the home in the 500 block of SW 8th Terrace and saw a dark blue Chevy Impala with a dark tint and Florida license plate. Kiser, according to police, got out of his vehicle and — as he approached the Impala — the driver sped away.

Kiser apparently saw items in the home piled up — as if someone was preparing to load them into a truck.

Police responded to the scene. No suspect information at this point. Nothing was apparently stolen.

Kiser may have spooked the would-be thief.
