BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — The only real question, it seems, is when Mark Alan Siegel will step down from his post as chair of the Palm Beach County DNC. As you likely know by now, Siegel, a Boca Raton resident, made all Jews everywhere look bad by stating that Christians want Jews to be slaughtered. The actual quote he gave at the Democratic convention in Charlotte:
I’m Jewish. I’m not a fan of any religion other than Judaism.” When asked if he’s not a fan of Christianity, Siegel responded, “No, I’m not. The Christians just want us to be there so we can be slaughtered and converted and bring on the second coming of Jesus Christ.”
Siegel went on to say, “They’re not our friends. They want Israel to pursue policies which are antithetical with its security and existence. The worst possible allies for the Jewish state are the fundamentalist Christians who want Jews to die and convert so they can bring on the second coming of their Lord. It is a false friendship. They are seeking their own ends and not ours.”
Now, this call from area clergy:
Pastor Mark D. Boykin, Senior Pastor of Church of All Nations in Boca Raton, Florida, is calling on Congresswoman and Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Hon. Debbie Wasseman Shultz to remove Mr. Mark Alan Siegel as Chairman of the Palm Beach County Democratic Party and issue an apology for the statements made against Christians.
“I am incensed and outraged by the statements made by Palm Beach County Democratic Party Leader Mark Alan Siegel attacking Christians all over the world and in particular those he represents in Palm Beach County,” added Pastor Mark D. Boykin.
“To say that ‘Christians just want us to be there so we can all be slaughtered and converted and bring the second coming of Jesus Christ is an outrage to us as Christians to be associated with the likes of Hitler, Eichmann, and Ahmadinejad,” continued Pastor Mark D. Boykin.
“Is Mr. Siegel venting off or is he spouting the official policy of the Palm Beach County, State of Florida or national policy of the Democratic Party. He must be removed from his office immediately and the Palm Beach County, State of Florida, and the National Democratic Party must issue an apology to all Christians,” added Pastor Mark D. Boykin.
In a YouTube clip posted on several sites, Mr. Seigel told The Patriot Update that he does not believe that Christians are true friends of Jews. “For the past decade we have been working closely with leaders of the Christian and Jewish community promoting a greater unity among ourselves and with the people and the nation of Israel right here in Palm Beach County,” said Pastor Boykin, “You cannot find a stronger friend and ally of the people and the nation of Israel than Christians worldwide. Christians are going to Israel at a greater rate than any other people in the world. We support Israel not only here, but with tourism dollars and Mr. Siegel is blinded to the efforts we have been doing for the past decade,” ended Pastor Mark D. Boykin
