Major Prostitution Bust In Boca

BOCA RATON, FL ( — Two Boca Raton women are accused of running a prostitution ring in Boca under the name of “Sara's Entertainment.” The Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Boca Police, The Department of Homeland Security and several other agencies this evening raided the operation and executed search warrants at the homes of Sara Marin and Denise McCoy.

According to the FDLE:

Earlier this evening, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Miami Regional Operations Center and the Boca Raton Police Department, in conjunction with Homeland Security Investigations, arrested Sara Marin, 42, and Denise McCoy, 34, owner and manager of Sara’s Entertainment, on charges of deriving proceeds for prostitution and money laundering.

Operating under the guise of an escort service, investigators allege Sara’s Entertainment, LLC is a criminal enterprise with its only mission to provide escorts for the purpose of prostitution. Investigators believe six escorts work for Sara’s Entertainment, LCC.

Today, search warrants were executed at two apartments, rented by Sara’s Entertainment, believed to be used for prostitution, 9859 Boca Gardens Circle North, Unit 8 and 22312 Calibre Court, Unit 1108, both in Boca Raton. Search warrants were also executed at the homes of Sara Marin and the home of Denise McCoy.

The 5-month investigation is on-going with additional arrests and charges anticipated. The Office of Statewide Prosecution will prosecute this case.

Both women were booked into the Palm Beach County Jail.

McCoy's husband, Sam McCoy is a Boca Raton Police Officer. He was profiled in the Sun Sentinel several months ago for his MMA (mixed martial arts) training.
