UPDATE: 11:33a: Boca Raton Police now confirm to that the gunman was Scott Edgerton. He shot and killed Sharon Bellingham who worked in the office of CBIZ Goldstein Lewin. Police say she either is — or was — his wife.
According to police, dispatch received a shots fired call at 9:25 this morning and were on scene moments later, only to find two bodies in the office.
Edgerton was the former general manager of the now defunct “Boca Raton News” (no relation to Bellingham is a mother of two. Palm Beach County property records show that the two jointly owned a home at 21606 San Lorenzo Avenue, which they purchased in December of 1985.
Edgerton most recently worked as the director at the “Center for Group Counseling.”
UPDATE: 10:38a: Workers in and around the area are now reporting to that this happened in the offices of CBIZ Goldstein Lewin, an accounting firm on the fifth floor of the building. In what is being described as a domestic dispute, a man opened fire on a woman, and then killed himself. Police are expecting to confirm details in the next twenty minutes or so. UPDATE: 10:13a: We have received unconfirmed reports from readers in the area that two people were killed in the shooting which apparently happened on the fifth floor of the Comerica building (1675 North Military Trail) in the offices of CBIZ Goldstein Lewin. While we are reporting this based on multiple reports to our newsroom, police are not confirming this information at this time. A news conference is still scheduled for 11a.

BOCA RATON, FL ( — We have received several reports in the past several minutes of a shooting at the Comerica Bank Building on Military Trail in Boca Raton.
Police are not yet providing information but eyewitnesses report to a huge police presence including a SWAT team and paramedics.
A person who works in the area tells that the shooter was apparently a man looking for his wife. The building is home to several law firms.
Military Trail near Town Center Mall is reportedly closed.
