BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Palm Beach County is preparing for its sixth annual massive July 4th celebration in South County Regional Park, complete with fireworks and live music.

Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation Presents: The Sixth Annual July 4th Celebration. The Shindigs will be kicking off the event. The band will perform classic hits from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s accompanied by several costume changes. We promise you will ShinDIG it! Following the concert will be a musical fireworks display by Zambelli Fireworks. Several food trucks will be on site. Picnic baskets and lawn chairs permitted. No BBQ’s, pets or personal fireworks allowed.
If you live in the City of Boca Raton:
The City of Boca Raton presents the “Fabulous Fourth” with the Beach & Park District; sponsored by Ed Morse Cadillac, and asks you to put on your best red, white and blue and be their guest as they salute Independence Day at a new venue – deHoernle Park, 1000 NW Spanish River Blvd.
While waiting for the pyrotechnics to begin, enjoy the entertainment of live band and activities for the entire family. Family activities begin at 6:30 pm and at 7:00 pm there will be the All-Star Band playing Rock N Roll from the 60's and 70's until the fireworks start. Beginning at 9:00 pm, a spectacular fireworks display will take place filling the skies with brilliant streams of color and lights. Traditional patriotic music will accompany the fireworks.
For both events: guests are not permitted to bring pets, alcohol or personal fireworks. Tickets may be issued by law enforcement.
