PARKLAND, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — We just learned from the Broward Sheriff's Office that a teen was taken into custody and charged with at least two burglaries in the City of Parkland.

According to BSO, the a homeowner witnessed the teen — with a backpack — enter an area home around 11am on a school day. Unsure what was happening or why the teen was there, the homeowner called deputies who responded promptly.

They found the teen inside and placed him under arrest.

A juvenile, no name is being released — or additional details — but BSO says it serves a reminder that no matter what time of day, if you see something suspicious, call the police.
