BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Two people were seriously injured when the 2012 TaoTao scooter they were riding was apparently struck by a 2011 Lincoln in the 700 Block of West Yamato Road.
Boca Raton Police say that 31-year-old Nilesh Shetty and 33-year-old Theodora Minkova were transported to Delray Medical Center in serious condition. The driver of the lincoln, 72-year-old Ira Yavarkovsky, was not injured.
The investigation continues. Anyone with information or who may have witnessed the crash is asked to telephone investigator Mike Daly at 561-620-6081.
