BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — A detour is in your future if you frequent the Palmetto Park Road bridge that spans the intracoastal. The closure starts on Wednesday, January 22nd, and will continue for 48 hours. It is expected to reopen at 6am on January 24th.
Workers will replace the 28-year-old hydraulic span machinery.
Another two-day closure will be required in February in order to replace the machinery for the two east spans.
