BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Josh Davidow is the new principal of Waters Edge Elementary.
Davidow, who currently serves as the instructional support leader for area 1, replaces Diane Schreiber who was reassigned to Calusa Elementary School following several years at Waters Edge.
Teachers tell BocaNewsNow.com that they hope Davidow’s top priority will be building solid bridges between administration and staff while solidifying the school’s top-ranked position throughout all of Palm Beach County.
Court records show that Davidow recently married and has a history of alleged creative driving leading to an on-again, off-again relationship with area police officers — though nothing generating more than a minor fine.
Waters Edge, after all, is largely a gifted elementary school, where creativity and accepting responsibility for your actions are important characteristics. So his February ticket for “improper passing on right/driving off pavement” is a perfect example of how he’ll fit right in. Davidow plead no contest and paid a $60 fine — proving he is leader who both exercises creativity and accepts responsibility for his actions.
Parents are expected to warmly welcome what is expected to be Davidow’s younger (he’s 41!), energetic approach to leading Waters Edge Elementary.
Joking about driving records aside, Davidow — according to those who know him — say Waters Edge is getting a phenomenal leader who will bring great things to an already spectacular school.
