Boynton Announces Speciality Summer Camp Schedule

BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Source: Boynton Beach Parks and Rec) — The Boynton Beach Recreation and Parks Department offers several one-week camp options for the week after school ends and before school begins for the new year.
Fun 5 Camp, for ages 5-12, is held at the Art Center, 125 SE 2nd Avenue, June 5-9 from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and includes daily field trips to Laser Quest, Strikes Bowling, Boynton Cinema, Ninja Lounge and Coconut Cove Splash Park. Fees are $130 for residents and $163 for non-residents.
The Gold Coast Ninja Challenge, for ages 5-14, is held at Ezell Hester, Jr. Community Center, 1901 N. Seacrest Blvd from June 5-9, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Participants will learn and practice skills with the pros from Gold Coast Gymnastics. Flexibility and increasing core muscle strength will be emphasized. Fees are $145 for residents and $181 for non-residents. Additional recreation hours (7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) are also available for an additional $25.
Basketball Camp, for ages 6-15, is held at Ezell Hester, Jr. Community Center, 1901 N. Seacrest Blvd,  August 7-11 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.  Led by experienced high school coaches, players will improve their fundamentals. Kids will take part in a variety of drills and participate in actual games during the week.  Fees are $90 for residents and $113 for non-residents. Additional recreation hours (7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) are also available for an additional $25.
During the Fab 5 Days of Summer, ages 5-12 can keep busy having fun before school starts with daily field trips. This camp is held at the Art Center, 125 SE 2nd Avenue, August 7 – 11 from 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.  Fees are $29 for residents and $35 for non-residents per day. The registration deadline is August 4.
Pre-registration is required. Registration takes place at Intracoastal Park Clubhouse, 2240 N.
