West Boca Motorcyclist Hits Tree, Dies

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Another motorcyclist has hit a tree with fatal consequences.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reports that Rafael Silva, 26, of NW 5th Terrace in Pompano Beach crashed into a tree in West Boca and died. He was not wearing a helmet.
From the police report:
“Silva was traveling southbound on Ponderosa Drive at a high rate of speed. (Silva) drove off the west shoulder of the roadway and lost control. Silva then crossed the sidewalk and struck a tree. (Silva) was not wearing a helmet. (Silva) was pronounced dead at the scene.”
