HURRICANE IRMA: FPL Spike In Outages, Now Quarter Million

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — More than a quarter of a million customers are without power in Palm Beach County. As of 1:15pm, 227,050 customers are in the dark. That’s up from 170,000 just a few hours ago. FPL says a total of 264,930 have been affected since the start of the storm — 37,880 have had power restored.
