BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — To be clear, as of 2pm Thursday, there is no need for a shelter nor are any open. But we want our readers to have a list of where shelters exist in Palm Beach County. Please note, just because a shelter is listed DOES NOT mean that it will be opened should Dorian truly head our way. Media and will provide updates from county officials IF shelters are activated.

This list is provided by Palm Beach County.

In our general readership area: West Boca High School (12811 Glades Road, Boca Raton), Boynton Beach High School (4975 Park Ridge Blvd., Boynton Beach), Boca Raton High School (1501 NW 15th Court, Boca Raton), and Atlantic Community High School (2455 West Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach) are all shelters.

But to repeat: NO SHELTERS ARE OPEN AS OF 2:30P THURSDAY, ALL SHELTERS ON THIS LIST MAY NOT BE ACTIVATED.
