BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Banks are now scatter closing — shutting down many, but not all, of their branches. Chase announced a massive shutdown several days ago. Now, Third Federal is closing most of its local branches. The Boca Raton branch will shut on Monday, while it appears the Delray Beach location will remain open for limited activity — for now.
From Third Federal:
As we continue to respond to the ever-changing impact of COVID-19, our number one priority right now is to protect the health and well-being of our customers and our associates. Therefore, we are making a temporary change to the way we serve customers.
Effective Monday, March 23, our Florida branches will have adjusted hours and we will be temporarily consolidating some branch locations.
Branches will have lobby hours from 9am-1pm Monday-Saturday. If you have loan in process, a loan administrator will contact you for a loan closing appointment.
Our Boca Raton, Bonita Springs, Hallandale, and Tampa branches will not be open beginning Monday.
If you prefer to bank from home, Online Banking is available at www.thirdfederal.com. Account information also is available through Personal MoneyLine at 1-888-521-5512 or by calling Customer Care at 1-800-THIRD-FED (844-7333).
We appreciate your support and your business during this unprecedented time.
