CORONAVIRUS: No, Salons Are Not Essential, But Some Remain Open

Coronavirus News

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — BocaNewsNow.com is receiving several reports of hair salons that are remaining open in the City of Boca Raton and extended Palm Beach County. Salons would seem to be violate the idea of social distancing, unless these salons are now using robots, or employing stylists with six foot long prosthetic arms.

Even in Boca, a hair salon just does not rise to the level of being a life sustaining business. Will it make you look better? Perhaps. Will it the Coronavirus away? More likely than not, no, but we’d need to see the hair design first.

If you are aware of salons that are open, please let your local police department know, or file a complaint on the Department of Business and Professional regulation website. Please also let us know. And if you have a photo of the salon providing services, send it to news (at) bocanewsnow.com.
