BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is warning the community to ignore calls from people claiming to need your personal information so that they can help you pay rent.

It’s a scam.

Police say there is never a reason to provide your personal information to anyone claiming to help you with rent payments. If you receive a call like this or any other SCAM please contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS or file a report using the PBSO App which is available for both iPhone and Android phones.
