First arriving firefighters reported flames and smoke from the back patio area of a first floor residence of a two story complex.
Firefighters quickly entered the home and started firefighting efforts. The crews were able to contain the fire to the apartment of origin, preventing any spread to adjacent units.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and the Red Cross was called to assist one occupant that has been displaced.
