Smell Smoke In Palm Beach County? Here’s Why

News

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Palm Beach County Fire Rescue today (May 9, 2020) says you may smell smoke if you’re outside in Palm Beach County, but that there is nothing to worry about. The smoke is from fires outside of the area.

“There are no active brush fires currently in the county,” says Capt. Albert Borotto. “This smell of smoke is coming from fires outside the county and it is being pushed in by the weather front that was predicted to move in this weekend.”
