BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — It’s now okay to play in Palm Beach County. After an unexpected delay, the Executive Order authorizing use of playgrounds across Palm Beach County is now in effect. While it is a countywide order, local municipalities — such as Boca Raton and Delray Beach — have the option to keep playgrounds closed. While there is no indication that they will, it’s best to check with your local city or town before promising the kids a return to their favorite spots.

Note: the order reminds everyone that COVID-19 is deadly. Using Palm Beach County facilities is choice and you assume all risk with that choice.

The order, below, also permits skate parks, bicycle tracks, water fountains and volleyball courts to return to normal operation. Campgrounds may take reservations for stays ON OR AFTER October 1, 2020.

Additionally, supervised sports facilities with lights may be open after sunset, and adult sports activities and leagues are now permitted once again.
