BocaNewsNow.com Obtains Email Morikami Park Elementary Principal Sent To Teachers Sunday
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — The scale of the crisis looming in the Palm Beach County School District is growing with each administrative email sent to teachers. BocaNewsNow.com just obtained an email sent by the principal of Morikami Park Elementary in which she tells teachers to “make a solution of soap and water.”
We previously reported that principals — just hours before schools are set to open — are being told that wipes shouldn’t be given to first graders while elementary school kids should clean their desks with soap and water — a directive not previously communicated.
Here’s the email the Morikami Principal Stacy Quinones sent to her teachers tonight:
”I sent an email earlier today from the district saying that students cannot use the sanitizing wipes that have been given to teachers. I just received that information today so I am trying to work through the issue. I am having Chichi order Spray bottles so that teachers can make a solution of soap and water to spray on students desks. In the meantime have kids use baby wipes or squirt some sanitizer on their desk and have them wipe that off with paper towel.”
