Photo Taken By High School Junior. She Tells BocaNewsNow.com That Teachers Tried But Failed To Socially Distance Students.
UPDATE: 7:18 PM — The photo is authentic and was taken by a Boca Raton Community High School Junior. She tells BocaNewsNow.com that teachers were doing everything they could to socially distance students but there were too many kids and not enough space. The student says she left after the two photos were taken. “I didn’t feel safe,” she told BocaNewsNow.com.
BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — The authenticity of a photo making its way around social media is not being questioned by Palm Beach County School District officials Monday afternoon. The photo shows what appears to be significant overcrowding at Boca High.
Palm Beach County School District started “in person” education today. We just reported that the numbers of those students returning to school were significantly lower than expected, which raises significant questions about how this scene was allowed to play out.
BocaNewsNow.com reached out to school district officials who have not yet responded. Multiple parents have shared the photo above with BocaNewsNow.com as well as their concerns about sending their kids back to school.
This is a developing story… check back for updates.
I guess school officials didn’t take into account that it might rain here in Florida, and students might not want to get soaked keeping distance.
