Palm Beach County Voting: Nearly Half Of Eligible Voters Have Already Voted

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — The Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections office is reporting seemingly unprecedented numbers when it comes to the number of votes already cast. Of 1,019,884 active eligible voters in Palm Beach County, 479,243 have already voted. That’s a percent turnout of 46.99 percent.

Of the ballots, 328,836 mail-in ballots have already been returned — either through the mail or at “ballot vans” and drop-off locations across the county. 150,407 people have voted in person.

By party: 235,093 registered Democrats have voted, 130,991 registered Republicans have voted. 105,577 with with “no party affiliation” have voted, 7,581 “other” voters have voted as well.


At the West Boca Branch Library early voting location: 4,205 registered Republican voters have cast a ballot in person, 3,185 registered Democrat voters have cast a ballot in person. The remaining are “no party affiliation” or “other,” bringing the West Boca Library location to 9,980 early voters so far. These statistics are in-person only — not “mail in.”

At the Spanish River Library Location, 4683 registered Republicans have voted early in person, 2,670 registered Democrats have voted early in person, the remaining “no party affiliation” and “other” voters bring the total at Spanish River to 9,959. These statistics are in-person only — not “mail in.”


At the South County Civic Center, 2,998 registered Republican voters have voted in person, 2709 registered Democrat voters have voted in person, the remaining “no party affiliation” and “other” voters brings the South County location to 7,503. These statistics are in-person only — not “mail in.”
