Boca Raton Community High School Has Most COVID Cases In School District

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Boca Raton area schools continue to lead the entire school district in COVID-19 cases, an embarrassing metric for the area but one that plays into stereotypes that Boca Raton is an elite part of the county where rules just don’t apply. We continue to receive reports of classrooms and hallways where students do not wear masks, no enforcement of social distancing policies in school hallways, and students generally disregarding COVID-19 rules.

As of early Friday morning, Boca Raton Community High School reports 32 COVID-19 cases. That’s the highest in the entire Palm Beach County school district.

Calusa Elementary, also in Boca Raton, reports 21 COVID-19 cases.

Boca Raton’s Omni Middle School reports 14 COVID-19 cases.

Hammock Pointe Elementary in Boca reports 14 COVID-19 cases.

Whispering Pines Elementary School in West Boca Raton reports 13 COVID-19 cases.

Don Estridge High Tech Middle reports 12 cases.

Boca Raton Community Middle School reports 12 COVID-19 cases.

Olympic Heights Community High School Reports 11 COVID-19 cases.
