Deputy John Anthony Marra Among Many Charged With DUI Over Weekend. Broward Deputy Arrested By Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Broward Sheriff’s Office Deputy John A. Marra is facing a DUI charge following his arrest by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office late Saturday night. While his photo and home address are blocked from public view under Florida statute, his ticket is above. Deputy Marra was stopped in the area of Atlantic Avenue and Markland Avenue in Delray Beach while driving a 4 door silver 2014 BMW. Marra, according the citation and jail records, was involved in an accident that involved property damage.
BSO Deputy Marra was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 1:03 a.m. Sunday and released less than two hours late, at 2:42 a.m.
While the most high profile, Deputy Marra’s DUI arrest was certainly not the only DUI arrest in Boca Raton and Delray Beach over the weekend. As is often the case, DUI arrests are ticking up as the holiday nears. Just days out from Christmas, Boca Raton Police, PBSO and Delray Beach Police are reporting what appear to be higher DUI arrest rates than normal.

Daniela Constalongamouta of Dorson Way in Delray Beach was charged with DUI — driving under influence of alcohol or drugs. She was was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail Monday morning at 5:19. She was released on her own recognizance at 10:32 a.m. Delray Beach Police made the arrest.
Nicole Sanona of the 100 block of NW 20th Street in Boca Raton was arrested early Monday morning and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail 6:52 a.m. Her official charge: DUI— driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. She was released on her own recognizance at 12:05 Monday afternoon. FHP made the arrest.
Michael Spielfogel of the 800 block of Orchid Drive in Boca Raton was arrested early Monday morning and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 5:41 a.m. His official charge: DUI— driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Spielfogel was released on his own recognizance at 9:43 a.m. Boca Raton PD made the arrest.
Michael Civitella of the 800 block of Marble Way in Boca Raton was arrested early Saturday morning and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 2:57 a.m. He was released on his own recognizance at 9:55 a.m. The official charge: DUI — unlawful blood alcohol — DUI breath alcohol .08 or more per 210L. Civitella was arrested by Palm Beach Gardens Police.
Arrests are accusations. Guilt or innocence is determined in a court of law.
