BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Donald Trump now calls Florida home as 1,601,011 of his fellow residents have tested positive for COVID-19. The Florida Department of Health reports 11,615 new cases were added on his last full day in office. The death count rose on Tuesday by 142. The positivity rate rose in Florida to 10.73 percent.

Trump will never meet the 24,578 people who died in Florida from COVID-19 during his time in office.

In Palm Beach County — Trump’s new home county — 666 new COVID-19 cases were added on Tuesday with 2 new deaths. The positivity rate rose in Palm Beach County to 10.39 percent.

The DOH reports 99,379 total cases of COVID-19 in Palm Beach County with 2,061 deaths.
