BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Video of Boca Raton resident Leslie Socolov, on an anti-semitic rant in Boca Raton, was just released by an unknown resident who apparently captured the Saturday evening event on camera. The video first appeared on AntiSemitism.org’s Twitter account. See it, below. If you are reading in a news app, click here for the video on our main website.

BocaNewsNow.com reported exclusively in stories on Sunday and Monday that Socolov, a former Miami-Dade Homicide Department transcriptionist, is the same Leslie Socolov that struck and killed U.S. Army Green Beret Richard J. Flaherty in 2015. Socolov claimed that she had no idea she hit the homeless vet near Aventura Mall. Prosecutors made the controversial decision to not file charges, stating Florida law would not let them prosecute someone who had no idea they were involved in a hit and run.
Even though she claimed she didn’t know she killed the man, Socolov, according to an investigator, called her insurance company after the incident but not the police.
Read our interview with retired Aventura Police Department Officer David Yuzuk who produced a documentary — The Giant Killer — about his good friend Flaherty. Flaherty was just 4 foot 7, a Green Beret, and a “contractor” for the NSA and CIA. Although Officer Yuzuk knew Flaherty for years, he only learned of his military connection days before he was killed by Socolov.
Socolov’s latest incident, seen above on video (click here if the video does not appear), was Saturday night in the 9100 block of Glades Road. The video speaks for itself. Miami-Dade Police Tuesday night released a statement saying that she is a retired civilian employee and no longer affiliated with the department. It was unclear why she had the jacket.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office charged Leslie Socolov with DUI and disorderly conduct.
