As of Thursday morning, 2,926 COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in the school system since in-person options started in late September. More than half — 1,658 — have been recorded since January of this year. The numbers continue to hold steady with several new cases added each day.
Among the schools with the highest case counts:
Boca Raton Community High School reports 54 COVID-19 cases.
Boca Raton Community Middle reports 36 COVID-19 cases.
Boynton Beach Community High reports 17 COVID-19 cases.
Calusa Elementary reports 28 COVID-19 cases.
Del Prado Elementary reports 24 COVID-19 cases.
Don Estridge High Tech Middle reports 53 COVID-19 cases.
Hammock Pointe Elementary reports 21 COVID-19 cases.
Loggers’ Run Community Middle reports 21 COVID-19 cases.
Morikami Park Elementary reports 17 COVID-19 cases.
Olympic Heights Community High reports 24 COVID-19 cases.
Omni Middle reports 26 COVID-19 cases.
Plumosa School of the Arts reports 23 COVID-19 cases.
Polo Park Middle reports 27 COVID-19 cases.
Spanish River Community High reports 25 COVID-19 cases.
Sunrise Park Elementary reports 23 COVID-19 cases.
West Boca Community High reports 24 COVID-19 cases.
