BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A high school party which is feared to become a massive super-spreader event has now been renamed a “Bible Study” event following BocaNewsNow.com’s exclusive reporting on Tuesday.

Students from Boca Raton Community High School, Olympic Heights High, West Boca Raton Community High School and Spanish River are secretly purchasing tickets and preparing to take part in the “mansion party” set for what — at least publicly — is an undisclosed location.

But BocaNewsNow.com has learned that the mansion was obtained by kids using an “Air BnB” account. There was apparently no vetting by “Air BnB,” according to those familiar with the situation. In traditional Boca Raton fashion, kids apparently had access to funds and electronically transferred those funds to secure the lease. It was not immediately clear what culpability parents will face if the party takes place, if alcohol is served, if drugs are found.

The party was being promoted as a senior graduation event first set for later this month, then apparently moved to the night of Thursday, April 15th. There is no school in the Palm Beach County School District on April 16th.

After our reporting, the party — heavily promoted on Instagram — was renamed “senior_bible_study” featuring “Boca Raton people.” It’s now a locked account.

Illegal alcohol and drug use aside, there is concern that the event — which could include hundreds of unmasked high school students — will turn into a massive super-spreader event, just as COVID-19 numbers are starting to lower.
