Flying? Major Delays, Canceled Flights At FLL Today

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you are planning to fly this afternoon or this evening, check with your airline. Many flights are canceled or delayed due to weather issues near Fort Lauderdale.

Air Traffic Control tells BocaNewsNow.com that departure delays are averaging two hours and increasing. Arrivals do not appear to be dramatically affected.

BocaNewsNow.com is hearing from travelers who are learning their flights aren’t only canceled, but new flights aren’t available until Tuesday at the earliest.

Southwest Airlines and Spirit appear to have the most affected flights.
