BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Florida Atlantic University (FAU) is preparing for in-person graduation ceremonies on Thursday. The events will take place at the school’s campus in East Boca Raton.

“Florida Atlantic University will confer more than 3,200 degrees on Thursday, April 29 during two in-person commencement ceremonies at FAU Stadium, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus,” wrote the school in an advisory. “The ceremonies are scheduled for 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. These students will join more than 180,000 alumni who have graduated from FAU since the University opened its doors in 1964.”
CDC guidlines will be enforced, with mandatory mask use.
From the school: “FAU requires that visitors to campus wear face coverings at all times and physical distancing must be observed at all indoor and outdoor events and gatherings.”
Expect challenging traffic situations on Glades Road, east of 95, throughout the day.
