BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — An inspector from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation issued a warning to Uncle Louis G Ices and Ice Cream– an ice cream shop at 19595 State Road 7.
At issue: employee training. While seemingly trivial, food service worker training is a key component of food safety. The inspector found that no one at the restaurant had training required by the State of Florida.
The official violations: Intermediate – Manager or person in charge lacking proof of food manager certification. **Warning**

The violation notices were issued on May 3rd. The restaurant is permitted to continue normal operation, but an unannounced follow-up inspection will be conducted. Uncle Louie G has locations in New York, New Jersey and Florida.
