Flies, Mold, More. Restaurant Permitted To Remain Open.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Lime Fresh, the fast casual Mexican restaurant at 20642 State Road 7/U.S. 441 in West Boca Raton, was cited for four “high priority” violations by Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
An inspector recorded the violations on May 17th.
According to the report obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, Lime Fresh was not in compliance for the following items:
High Priority – Live, small flying insects in kitchen, food preparation area, food storage area and/or bar area. Observed approximately 5 flying insects at rear door and landing in 3 compartment sink floor drain. Observed approximately 5 flying insects at garbage can at front counter. High Priority – Quaternary ammonium sanitizer used to sanitize clean in place equipment not at proper minimum strength. Do not use equipment not properly sanitized. Observed quaternary sanitizer at 0PPM. Operator corrected to 200PPM. **Corrected On-Site** **Warning**
High Priority – Stop Sale issued on time/temperature control for safety food due to temperature abuse. Lowboy refrigerator ; salsa,key lime pie ,whipped cream (58°F – Cold Holding) overnight. **Warning**

Basic – Garbage on the ground and/or pad around dumpster. Observed box and garbage all over pad. **Warning**
An inspector visited Lime Fresh again on May 18th, 2021 and noted all issues were resolved.
