DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The City of Delray Beach has issued a “boil water advisory” effective immediately for residents serviced by the City’s water supply.
The water main break, at 824 Club Drive, has not led to a water interruption, but there is concern of contamination as repair crews expedite a fix. Bottled water will be delivered to the clubhouse in the “High Point” community this afternoon, according to City of Delray Beach officials.
The “precautionary boil water notice” is for all properties south of North Drive, between Circle Drive, Club Drive and Evans Road.
Anyone with concerns or questions may call the City of Delray Beach water department at 561-243-7312.
As we always point out, just because you have a “Delray Beach” address does not necessarily mean that you live in the City of Delray Beach. If you are served by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, if you do not receive water bills from the City of Delray Beach, and if you live west of roughly Military Trail, you most likely live in “unincorporated Palm Beach County” and are not a city resident.
