DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — For the second time in two days, a resident of upscale gated community “Seven Bridges” in West Delray Beach traded a luxury estate home for the confines of a cell in the Palm Beach County Jail.

Jake Rosenhaus, 22, of the 16000 block of Matisse Drive in Delray Beach, is now charged with multiple counts of drug possession and selling. He was allegedly observed by police selling his goods to a buyer in the Marathon gas station parking lot at 2741 SR 7 in Wellington.

According to a police report obtained by BocaNewsNow.com, “There were approximately 4-5 males standing by the vehicles (being observed), including a 2018 Gray Audi. While maintaining surveillance, police observed a male later identified as [redacted] enter the driver seat of a gray Buick. At the same time another male later identified as Jake Rosenhaus walked to the driver side of the gray Audi. Rosenhaus retrieved a plastic bag containing unknown small objects and walked to the other man. As he walked over he attempted to conceal the plastic bag as he handed it to the other man. Observing the narcotics transaction, the undercover officer exited his vehicle and made contact with man who received the bag. On the driver side floor board in his immediate control was the plastic bag that was previously in Rosenhaus’ possession. The undercover officer also observed the handle of a handgun at which time the man was removed from the vehicle and placed into handcuffs.”

Also from the report: “A search of Rosenhaus’ vehicle was conducted. At this time a white pill container was located in the change drawer to the left of the steering wheel. Upon further inspection the container contained fifty (50) 30MG Oxycodone Pills and half of a Xanax bar. The bottle was not marked with any prescription information and the Oxycodone pills were the same pills that were in the plastic car in (the other man’s) vehicle. Also in the vehicle was a small black digital scale located inside the center console.”

Added the investigating officer: “Through my investigation I find that Rosenhaus did commit an act of sale of Oxycodone, Possession of Alprazaolam (Xanax) and possession of drug paraphernalia.”

Rosenhaus was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail at 1:47 a.m. Friday and later released on $6,000 surety bond at 6:05 a.m. Of note, Rosenhaus’ family is part of Nielsen, Rosenhaus and Associates — a company specializing in surety bonds.

This is the second arrest in two days of a Seven Bridges resident — a community where homes started in the $800,000’s and sold for more than $2,000,000. A man was arrested in Seven Bridges Wednesday after allegedly battering his wife in a dispute over Mangos.
