Infections, Death Surging Again. Unvaccinated Adults To Blame.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you are an adult and unvaccinated against COVID-19, you are Florida’s problem.
The Centers For Disease Control reports 12,775 new COVID-19 cases were logged on Monday — the latest day with results. That brings Florida’s rolling seven day average to 12,495 — a number that is very much back into the peak numbers experienced by Florida during the early part of 2021.
The upside: those who don’t believe in vaccines may die and will no longer be able to spread the virus.
Florida’s rolling daily death average is again notable, with a seven day rolling average of 52. At least 38,748 Floridians have died from COVID-19. Only 60 percent of those eligible for a vaccine in Florida have been vaccinated.
As the number surge, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis again, inexplicably, is fighting masks. On Tuesday, the CDC reversed course and said masks should be worn by the vaccinated while indoors in high risk areas, like Florida. The CDC is also calling for all students K-12 to wear masks while indoors. DeSantis is trying to convince people that masks stunt development — a made-up claim.
School officials in Palm Beach County and Broward County are said to be considering the reinstatement of mandatory mask policies. A meeting in Broward on Tuesday was cut short when parents — again citing false claims — disrupted the meeting as they opposed masks that could keep children, and adults, safe.
BocaNewsNow.com has learned that outgoing Palm Beach County School Superintendent Donald Fennoy may implement a mask mandate as a final act before interim superintendent Michael Burke takes over in days.
