BOYNTON BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Delray Beach woman is dead following a critical crash near the intersection of Verona Lakes Blvd. and Lyons Road in Boynton Beach.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Lynne Cigale, 75, of the 2800 block of SW 13th Street in Delray, was in a 2000 Ford Escape driven by Bruce Cigale. Investigators say Bruce Cigale was traveling north on Lyons Road when he turned left onto Verona Lakes Blvd. into the path of an oncoming Lexus RC300 which was traveling south on Lyons Road.
The Lexus slammed into the Ford Escape, pushing it into a Ford F-150 that was stopped at the intersection’s traffic light. The driver of the Ford F-150 was not injured.
Lynne Cigale was pronounced dead at the scene. Bruce Cigale was transported to Delray Medical Center where he remains in critical condition. The driver of the Lexus sustained minor injuries.

The crash was reported to police at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 7th, 2021. The investigation continues.
