DELRAY BEACH, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A popular Asian restaurant on Jog Road in Delray Beach was warned by a health inspector that corrective action was promptly needed. The restaurant was found to be in compliance the follow day.
The Sea Southeast Asian Bistro at 16950 Jog Road in Delray Beach was found to have two high priority violations during its inspection on August 25th. The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation recorded the following:
“High Priority – Stop Sale issued on time/temperature control for safety food due to temperature abuse…. Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit….ginger sauce 47°, pat thai sauce 46°, spring rolls sauce 49°, noodles 46°, eel sauce 48° , curry sauce 48° in walk in cooler . Food being more than four hours. **Warning**”
“High Priority – Time/temperature control for safety food cold held at greater than 41 degrees Fahrenheit….ginger sauce 47°, pat thai sauce 46°, spring rolls sauce 49°, noodles 46°, eel sauce 48° , curry sauce 48° in walk in cooler . Food being more than four hours. Stop sale issue. Advised to discarded food…. Tofu 51°, chicken 71° by the soup station at expo line . Food being held less than four hours. Employee discarded food. Salmon 50°, tuna 45°, escarole 45° in sushi case being held less than four hours. Employee moved food another acceptable place. **Corrective Action Taken** **Warning**”
“Intermediate – Handwash sink used for purposes other than handwashing…rinsing , pouring water from handwashing sink. **Warning**”
The restaurant “met inspection standards” the following day. At no time was The Sea ordered closed.
