BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Southbound Sawgrass Express is shut as of 5:45 p.m. Thursday due to a major crash at Lyons Road.

The Florida Department of Transportation says drivers should seek an alternate route.

We have learned two Trauma Hawk helicopters were dispatched to the scene for the report of multiple trauma patients.
