BOCA RATON, FL ( (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A reminder to our readers who plan to use I-95 while out and about Saturday night. The Glades Road exit ramp will be closed, starting at 11 p.m. Saturday.

From the Florida Department of Transportation:

“Partial Weekend Ramp Closure Notice: The I-95 northbound exit ramp to Glades Road will undergo a full closure for new ramp construction tie-in, beginning 11 p.m., Saturday night, Nov. 13 through 5 a.m., Monday morning Nov. 15. Motorists will be detoured via I-95 northbound and Yamato Road. FHP will be on site to assist motorists. Saturday night, Nov. 20 through Monday morning. Nov. 22 will be used as contingency if needed.”

While this is the official notification from the State of Florida, we strongly encourage our readers to visit FL511.COM before heading out to I-95 or Florida’s Turnpike starting late Friday. Anyone driving overnight hours over the past year knows that construction sometimes just “pops up” without an announcement. Florida’s tends to update in real time when lanes, on ramps or exits are closed.
