PBI Does Not Report In Real Time, But Assume Spaces Are Filling Up, Too…

BROWARD COUNTY, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Parking garages at Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport are filling up with travelers eager to get out for the Thanksgiving week.
While “overflow” parking is not yet in effect at FLL, it appears that may happen sooner than later. As of just after Noon on Sunday, FLL reports that most long-term garages are approaching — or past — 90 percent of capacity. The Palm Garage is reporting 100 percent capacity for roof-level parking, and 98 percent for level 3. The only garage levels with widespread vacancies are “employee” parking. Those are never repurposed for general use.
We have asked Palm Beach International Airport for a parking report. Unlike FLL, PBI does not provide this information online. Expect a shortage of spaces at PBI as well.
Both airports offer off-site parking overseen by the airport, as well as several private lots that provide regular shuttle service.
