BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Two parents were just arrested (2:25 p.m.) outside Del Prado Elementary School in Boca Raton. Sources tell BocaNewsNow.com the parents were angry about something — what that “thing” is remains unclear.

The situation became so intense that an officer, sources tell us a school police officer, sprayed the parents with pepper spray. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue is now on the scene trying to mitigate the effects of the pepper spray deployment.

Both parents are in custody. We are awaiting further details from officials. Parents of students at Del Prado are expected to be notified later this afternoon that the event occurred.

The first dispatch for emergency medical service was transmitted by Palm Beach County Fire Radio at 1:41 p.m.

We will identify the parents once the booking process is complete at the Palm Beach County Jail.

UPDATE: 3:20 PM — We have learned that PBSO assisted School Board police with the arrest.
