You Must Have Identification Proving Palm Beach County Residency. A New York Drivers License, And A Claim That You Live Here, Will Not Work.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — If you have identification proving that you live in Palm Beach County, you are eligible to receive free COVID-19 home test kits today.
Palm Beach County is distributing the tests locally at 6500 Congress Avenue in Boca Raton today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday, January 8th, 2022) starting at 10 a.m.
You must have proof of local identification. A license from New York and a promise that you “really live in Boca” will not suffice. You will only receive a kit if you truly live here and have official proof of that claim.
Palm Beach County says distribution will be limited to two kits per person, will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, will be distributed only in a drive-through area, and anyone requesting a kit MUST be wearing a facial covering.
Officials expect to distribute 3,000 test kits today and 3,000 test kits tomorrow. Additional distribution dates will be announced when additional kits are received.
We note that in most cases, “at home” tests are NOT acceptable for international travel or other situations where you must prove that you are negative for COVID. These are not PCR tests. However, they are an accurate way to determine if you have COVID in your system.
