BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Casa D’Angelo Boca Raton is considered one of the most stable restaurants in the area, but even it couldn’t escape the wrath of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation. An inspector issued a “warning” to the restaurant on January 19th for several “high priority” violations. The violations were cleared the following day and the restaurant was never ordered to close.
This is the text written by the inspector following the January 19th inspection:
High Priority – Cooked/heated time/temperature control for safety food not cooled from 135 degrees Fahrenheit to 41 degrees Fahrenheit within 6 hours. At cookline #1, #1; tomato sauce (51 – Cooling); vodka sauce (51 – Cooling). Items cooling over night. Items discarded. See Stop Sale **Warning**

Cooked/heated time/temperature control for safety food not cooled from 135 degrees Fahrenheit to 41 degrees Fahrenheit within 6 hours. Staffers apparently took the warnings seriously. The follow-up inspection on January 20th revealed “no violations.”
