UPDATE @ 2:42PM FROM PBSO: “PBC School buses and Palm Tran buses have transported 844 kids, teachers and administrators, from the Renaissance Charter School to Olympia Park. The kids will be kept at Olympia Park until their parents arrival.
The investigation is ongoing.”
WELLINGTON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — There is no active shooter at Renaissance Charter School in Wellington, but the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office wants the public to know that deputies remain on scene and are conducting a methodical search of the building.
An active shooter report was received by PBSO a short time ago, leading to a massive callout.
A reunification center is being established at Olympia Park which is just north of the school, behind Emerald Cove Elementary.
Renaissance Charter is located at 3200 State Road 7 in Wellington.
