Closure Will Route Traffic Onto Local Streets.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The Florida Department of Transportation tells the BocaNewsNow.com Traffic Center that I-95 is set to close again overnight starting on Tuesday night. The closure will affect all southbound lanes in the area of Congress Avenue.
“95 southbound lanes at Congress Avenue will be closed to traffic overnight Tuesday, Feb. 15 through Thursday, Feb. 17 for beam installation on the Clint Moore Road bridge over I-95,” reports FDOT. “The first lane will close at 9 p.m., the second lane will close at 10 p.m., and all lanes will be closed by 11 p.m., reopening by 5:30 a.m. each morning.”
FDOT adds that traffic will be detoured off of I-95, then back onto the Interstate past the construction area.
“Traffic will be detoured via the I-95 southbound exit ramp to Congress Avenue, Congress Avenue and Yamato Road. FHP will be on-site to assist motorists. Monday, Feb. 21 and Tuesday, Feb. 22 will be used as contingency nights if needed.”
Expect delays in the area.
