Two of the teenage students died.

Lopez was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of vehicular homicide and driving under the influence. Chad Wazir was pronounced dead on March 25th. He was 15 years old. Tiana Johnson, also 15, died shortly after the crash on March 22nd.

According to PBSO, “The toxicology report suggests (Angel Lopez) had 4 times the legal dosage of a prescription drug (in his system).”

Lopez will be arraigned Thursday morning.

From our original reporting: “the vehicle hit a curb in the area of Crestwood Blvd. and Cypress Lake Drive in Royal Palm Beach,” according to police. “The vehicle lost control and began to rotate counterclockwise and struck the curb in the northeast corner of the intersection with the passenger-side tires. The collision caused the Alfa Romeo to roll over, coming to rest facing west on the east curb of Crestwood Blvd.”
