BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — A Palmetto Circle resident is facing serious charges Friday morning following her late night arrest by the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Kristy Jerez, 38, is starting her day in the Palm Beach County Jail. She is charged with ”aggravated stalking — follow, harass, cyberstalk, make credible threat to a person,” and a second charge of ”extort or threaten.” It was not immediately clear who she is accused of stalking and threatening, or how she allegedly communicated those threats.
The affidavit of probable cause was still being processed early Friday morning.
Jerez, of the 6800 block of Palmetto Circle in Boca Raton, was taken into custody Thursday evening. She is being held without bond as of 6 a.m.
