BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Palm Beach County Fire Rescuers rushed the scene of an overturned boat in far west Boca Raton late Monday afternoon.
Sources tell BocaNewsNow.com that two people were on a boat in the area of 15960 Loxahatchee Road when the boat overturned around 5:30 p.m. Storms continued to move through West Boca — it was unclear why they were boating at that time.
Rescuers from both Palm Beach County and Broward County converged on the scene — unsure whether it was on the Palm Beach or Broward side of Lox Road. It appears the incident was in Palm Beach County.
The victims were ultimately brought to shore. No injuries were reported.
