Villa Rosano in West Boca Raton was ordered closed by the Florida Dept. of Business and Professional Regulation on June 10th. It was permitted to reopen the following day.


BOCA RATON, FL ( (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Popular Italian restaurant Villa Rosano at 9858 Clint Moore Road in West Boca Raton is open again after being ordered to close by a health inspector with Florida’s Department of Business and Professional Regulation. The closure was ordered after roaches and plumbing issues were found during an inspection on June 10th.

High Priority – Roach activity present as evidenced by live roaches found. Observed approximately 5 live roaches inside cove molding at far left side corner of bar Observed 1 live roach at hot water heater next to back door. Observed approximately 5 live roaches on floor under left side cook line in kitchen **Warning**

Intermediate – No paper towels or mechanical hand drying device provided at handwash sink. Observed at hand wash sink in ware washing area. Operator provided **Corrected On-Site** **Warning**

Basic – Dead roaches on premises. Observed approximately 3 dead roaches in left corner of bar. Observed 1 dead roach under dry storage rack in front of cook line Observed 1 dead roach in back section of dining room. (Area not in use at time of inspection **Warning**

Basic – Plumbing system in disrepair. Observed at hand wash sink on cook line. Hot water too hot to wash hands. Hand wash sink no cold water. Temped hot water at 130°F **Warning**

The restaurant was reinspected on June 11th and no violations were found.
