BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2022 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — The overnight closure of Glades Road is on hold. While the work was supposed to close Glades at I-95 overnight all week long, FDOT is delaying the work until a later date.
That date will be announced at a later time.
It was not immediately clear why the roadwork is being delayed, but the overnight road closure was expected to cause massive traffic and other problems for being trying to cross Boca Raton on Glades Road, enter or exit I-95. The work is part of a major I-95 expansion and overhaul.
We will update as soon as we learn when the road work is expected to lead to a Glades Road closure.
